Small update:
1. tires are very old, need 4 new tires.
My tires are 275/40/ZR17 on sawblade rims, not difficult to find and pretty cheap options.
2. alternator/Lichtmaschine = new but does not charge the battery, I suspect something is wrong with the cables.
Seems to be a problem with fuses/cables.
3. Only 6 cylinders are working
got all 8 cylinders working.
4. Oil leak from the Automatic transmission, the seals need to be replaced.
No update.
5. New brakes
No update.
6. Katalysator needs to be replaced
When looking under the car, I see that two Katalysator are removed (left and right) just 40-50CM after the pipe leaves the engine. The device (I assume also a Katalysator or muffler) is still there. What options do I have?
